Mounted type disc plough is a suspended cultivation machine which is connected to the tractor and primarily used for soil cultivation in seed bed preparation after the harvest.
Disc ploughs do not hit the obstacles because discs operate by rotation. Disc abrasion on the beach and stony fields is less than moldboard plow. As they operate by rotation, no much trailing power is required and tractor is not forced. Adjusting is simple and it is easy to use.
*Advantages of Disc Pluogh;
*Sludging does not appear because the furrow bottom has a fluctuating structure in humid soils cultivated by disc plows.
*Concave discs break the soil better and clod formation is prevented. Because the discs operate by rotating, the machine passes the obstacles such as stone, hard plant roots easily and possible failures and obstructions are prevented.
*Because the power associated with the soil resistance is distributed onto a wide surface, it is resistant to high powers in terms of endurance and discs are not damaged easily.
*Since the disc sides are sharpened from outside, the sharp edge scrapes onto the furrow wall and the disc is sharpened by itself in time and becomes sharper.
It enables to adjust the discs curve easily.
The roller system which is manufactured from steel pipe and platina and breakage prevented.
The scraper system present on each disc which prevents grass and soil sticking and cleans the disc.
It adjust the parallelity of front and rear disc group upon to the surface due to the soil count.
Number of the discs of the machine may be increased and decreased.
Discs may be manufactured with sizes of 560 and 610 mm and plane and notched.
